Caregivers of children with Celiac Disease or Food Allergies know the importance of having access to information about the food their children eat, including ingredients used and the facilities where it is manufactured. Children are unique, and so are their needs.

For this reason, Nunches will always provide access to information about the food products inside a Nunches box, so that caregivers can make the best choices for their children.

At Nunches, our top priority is safety. Nunches will only procure food products from companies that strictly adhere to the highest levels of food safety set forth by the FDA and USDA.

Our manufacturers must be SQF certified and maintain an established, verified, and validated Allergen Protocol to ensure the mitigation of cross-contamination risks in facilities where other allergens may be present.  

Allergen protocols are strictly followed and have various steps in place, including “minimized shared equipment, scheduling of allergen runs, a color-coding system for tools and utensils, and allergen cleaning practices after each run. After the equipment is cleaned, a swab is taken and is evaluated for allergen residue (applies to the allergen handled by the site), and then sanitized before products are run.

Several factors go into this. First, Nunches only sources products from facilities with Allergen Protocols that meet USDA and FDA guidelines for food safety. To learn more about these from individual facilities, click here.

Next, Nunches only selects products that are healthy, nutritious, and taste great. We will never compromise on safety and quality.

None! Nunches is the first and only gluten free and top 9 allergen free lunch kit that is ready-to-eat! Just pull a Nunchbox from the freezer approximately 4 hours before serving and defrost in the refrigerator at 40 degrees F or cooler.

Nunches are shipped frozen. Once thawed, they stay fresh in the fridge for 5 days.

Nunches contain a full serving of protein, a full serving of fruit, and over a half serving of whole grain!

Nunches offers subscriptions every 2,3, 4, or 6 weeks. You can skip, pause, or change your order anytime as long as you do before your renewal date. The renewal differs based on when you place your first order, and it will be in your confirmation email when you place your first order. 

We’ll send you reminders 48 hours and 24 hours before your renewal date so you don’t forget.

You can update your order, select different meals, change your delivery address, or reschedule your delivery, or skip or pause inside your Account. You can always find your account portal here.

You can cancel your subscription by contacting our support team at nunches@nunches.com, or canceling inside your account portal at least 24 hours before your next bill date. Please note that the cancellation will be processed for your next scheduled bill date.

We ask that you notify us before your payment is processed if you need to cancel. Once an order is placed, we’re unable to cancel it. You’ll receive a reminder notification 24 and 48 hours before your renewal date, so please be sure to submit any cancellation or change requests at least 24 hours before processing.

Very flexible! With just a few clicks, you can adjust the billing date for your next order, and your box will arrive 2–5 days after it’s billed.

You can also set your delivery frequency to fit your needs, choosing every 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 weeks. Note that changes to delivery frequency take effect after your next scheduled order. To apply changes immediately, be sure to update both your box frequency and your upcoming bill date.

Your order is frozen and packed in dry ice with an insulating sleeve to keep it frozen.  If you find that the dry ice has evaporated but the food is still frozen, no need to worry—that’s completely normal.

If some or all of the food has defrosted but remains cold to the touch, it’s perfectly safe to eat. If you are not comfortable, please reach out to our team at nunches@nunches.com so we can assist with your order.

Your order comes frozen and carefully packed with dry ice. We offer flat-rate shipping fee of $12.95!

Yes, simply log into your account to change the address for any delivery up until your cutoff date.

Your box will arrive approximately 2–5 business days after your order is billed. Here’s a quick overview of our order and delivery timeline:

  • We carefully pack each order with the ideal amount of dry ice to ensure your items stay cold.
  • Orders ship 1–3 days after you place them (or 1–3 days after billing for recurring orders).
  • Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email and text with tracking details.
  • Most orders arrive within 1–2 days of shipping. Carriers typically deliver between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., though some deliveries may occur outside these hours. You can also log in to your account anytime to check your order status.
